Global Games Jam Event

About the event

The ExPlay Plymouth Global Game Jam is a 48 hour straight hack-a-thon for any game developers and artists wanting to flex their creative muscles and create something awesome in an intense period of game-creating action. Participants are encouraged to create a new game that co-insides with the theme set at the start, and there will be prizes awarded for exceptional entries. The event will also feature live lectures and talks by the GlobalGameJam community, game tournaments, Plymitron action and lots more exciting stuff!

The Jam will be located in Room 210 of Roland Levinsky building in the University of Plymouth campus in Plymouth.

Schedule

Friday 27th Jan

6:00pm - Introduction talk and Game Jam Start

Saturday 28th Jan

4:00pm - Nidhogg Tournament

Sunday 29th Jan

4:00pm - Game Jam closes and entries are judged.
5:00pm - Prizes are awarded & open session to play everyone's games.
6:00pm - Game Jam closes.
